The truck, generously donated by Commercial Vehicle Solutions, has arrived in Usisya. At the end of August, a group of tireless Temwenani volunteers helped to load a truck – generously donated by Commercial Vehicle Solutions (CVS) (see ‘Truck donation’ item in News Archive) – with a variety of items donated from various sources to be taken out to Malawi. Not only did CVS arrange the transportation of the truck from Leicester to Bristol and then from Bristol to Tilbury docks (UK), they paid half the shipping costs to get the truck to Tanzania, and they also helped to arrange getting the truck from Tanzania into Malawi. Martin Collins from CVS, along with a colleague, recently visited the Temwenani project in Usisya to see how the truck will be used. They also saw the project in action and the difference it is making to the people of Usisya.
