On the weekend of the 15th and 16th May Temwa are organising a Bristol to Devises (and back!) sponsored cycle ride. The route is roughly 80 miles and will take all the participants along the famous Bristol to Bath Cycle Path to join the beautiful Kennet and Avon Canal in Bath for a lovely picturesque cycle all the way to Devises. This route has two main attributes. One, it is predominately flat and easy to cycle, and two, it is almost all on dedicated cycle tracks away from the car cluttered roads!
The plan is to camp just outside Devises in a campsite next to a lovely pub called The Three Magpies that serves good food, and then gather our sore limbs (and heads!) for the second leg back to Bristol. Camping is free and Temwa will organise getting everyones camping gear to the campsite and back so that you can enjoy the ride with only your merry selves to propel. Those that want to stay in the comfort of a B&B are also welcome and there are a few very close by.
