Following a generous grant from Lush Cosmetics, the Wetlands Utilisation project meetings start in communities to begin the selection process for beneficiaries.
The overall aim will be to utilise the wetlands in order to alleviate the poverty of vulnerable households by improving their income and food security status. read more

Tree Nursery for the SIFT Community Forestry Project is established in the Demonstration Garden in order to raise 3,000 seedlings for planting out in the community.
The garden is also to be used to train local people in the growing and care of trees and the educating of the whole community as to the importance of trees. read more |
