Grand opening ceremony of Community Centre. Temwa becomes fully
operational charity employing its first Project Manager and other staff
in Usisya. The first market in Usisya also opens, funded by Temwa. |

The building of the Community Centre starts in Usisya - whilst training 15 bricklayers with TEVET. |

The town Usisya is chosen as the location for the first group of
projects. Usisya is a remote area with no electricity or phone lines,
and no decent road. |
