Bottletop’s founder, Cameron Saul, was introduced to Temwa back in 2005 by his friend and Temwa trustee: Hannah Higginson. At the time, Cameron was looking for more HIV&AIDS projects for Bottletop to fund. Hannah and Cameron had originally met in 2002 while volunteering in Uganda for the Student Partnership Wordwide. Soon after that, while volunteering for VSO in Malawi, Hannah met Joanna Hook, Temwa’s co-founder. Since Bottletop got in contact with Temwa, they have been funding our HIV&AIDS projects year on year. These include:
In 2010, Bottletop renewed their funding of Temwa’s continued HIV & AIDS awareness work. This project included peer education training for young people, Stepping Stones for couples, BCI for vulnerable groups and the carrying out of a Knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP) survey. Temwa would like to take this chance to offer their heartfelt thanks to Bottletop for their ongoing support, without which we wouldn’t be where we are today. We look forward to many more happy years of fruitful partnership. |
